The Lake Trail
A 1.25-Mile paved path, WillowTree’s Lake Trail highlights the beauty of our massive 40+ acre fresh water lake. Be on the lookout for Bass & Lake Carp along the waters edge along with Wild Turkey, Deer, Squirrel & Rabbit along the banks and around the tree line. This trail is open to Golf Carts, Bicycles & Foot Traffic Only. Cars or other vehicles are not permitted.
Southern Sights Drive
A scenic path encompassing our entire 0.8-Mile entrance road (1.6-Mile Round Trip). Wildlife sightings are very common around dawn and dusk. Be on the lookout for wild Turkey, White Tail Deer, Grey & Fox squirrel and a wild array of local and migratory birds. This trail is open to Foot Traffic, Bicycles and any motorized vehicle allowed within the resort.
Lone Pine Path
Both trail entrances are marked by large ‘lone’ pine trees. The trail is open to Foot & Bicycle Traffic. This trail is un-paved and could feature exposed roots, holes, stumps or fallen limbs, bike with caution.
The Hemlock Nature Walk
Explore over 2-miles of Carolina Wilderness across three distinct trail routes. The trail is open to Foot & Bicycle Traffic. This trail is un-paved and could feature exposed roots, holes, stumps or fallen limbs, bike with caution.
The Magnolia Nature Walk
A winding group of over 7 trails totaling nearly 1/3 Mile. The trail is open to Foot & Bicycle Traffic. This trail is un-paved and could feature exposed roots, holes, stumps or fallen limbs, bike with caution.
The Cypress Nature Walk
A winding 1.10-mile trail group going through a natural inland wetland habitat. The trail is open to Foot & Bicycle Traffic. This trail is un-paved and could feature exposed roots, holes, stumps or fallen limbs, bike with caution.

A Message About Wildlife
Our nature trails feature direct access to pristine nature. While beautiful guests should be aware of local wildlife including White Tail Deer, Fox, Bob Cat, Various types of Snake and the occasional Hog or Bear. For the safety of both guests and the natural habitat, wildlife should only be observed from a distance and never approached or otherwise disturbed.
